Built for broadcast

The details your platforms check, handled.

Ad breaks on the exact frame.

Cue points to the frame. Pods, rules and SCTE-35 follow.

Catalogues, not copies.

Feed titles arrive just before air and leave after.

A guide in the stream.

DVB now and next on every set-top box. XMLTV for platforms.

An engine of your own.

A dedicated playout engine per customer. No neighbours.

Checked, not assumed.

Every output analysed the way your receivers will.

  • SCTE-35 on the frame
  • PCR timing
  • Continuity
  • EIT present and following

A rundown that never runs dry.

Gaps fill themselves. Slate and logo stay on cue.

Example rundown: Night Riders, then an ad break, Meadow Tales, a promo, Event Horizon, an ad break, High Andes, filler and The Last Ferry, played out over SRT, HLS and MPEG-TS over UDP.

Questions

Can I use APlayout today?
Not yet. It is coming soon, with no paid service yet. Join the waitlist on aplayout.com to hear first when it opens.
Do I have to copy my library into it?
No. APlayout can read an MRSS catalogue, fetch each title just before air and release it afterwards.
How do ad breaks work?
Mark cue points on the frame. Break rules fill the pods, and SCTE-35 signals each break in the stream and in HLS.
Which outputs does it deliver?
SRT, HLS and MPEG-TS over UDP multicast, with the guide carried in the stream as DVB EIT and published as XMLTV.
How does it relate to other AMTECCO services?
It is its own service, from AMTECCO. It plays out what AI Studio makes and hands over to SRT Cloud, CDN Live or FAST-on-Broadcast.
What will it cost?
Pricing will be published before launch.
